Audio and meeting data are processed solely to generate transcripts, summaries, action items, decisions, meeting preparation materials, and meeting insights requested by the user.

Meet does not use meeting recordings, transcripts, summaries, or Google Workspace data to train generalized AI models or machine learning models.

Meet does not sell user information.

3. Google API Services User Data

Meet's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Meet accesses Google user data only to provide functionality explicitly requested by the user, including:

  • Google account authentication
  • Calendar synchronization
  • Meeting discovery
  • Meeting scheduling
  • Meeting participation workflows

Meet does not use Google Workspace data for:

  • Advertising
  • Marketing
  • User profiling
  • Data brokerage
  • Creditworthiness decisions

4. Google Workspace Data and AI Usage

Meet does not use Google Workspace data obtained through Google APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized artificial intelligence (AI) models or machine learning (ML) models.

Google Workspace data is used solely to provide user-requested functionality within Meet, including:

  • Calendar synchronization
  • Meeting discovery
  • Meeting participation workflows
  • Transcript generation
  • Summary generation
  • Action item extraction
  • Decision tracking

Google Workspace data is never used for advertising, behavioral profiling, recommendation systems unrelated to user-requested functionality, or AI model training.

5. Limited Use Compliance

Meet's use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Information obtained through Google APIs is:

  • Used only to provide or improve user-facing features requested by the user
  • Not sold to third parties
  • Not used for advertising purposes
  • Not used for creditworthiness, lending, or insurance decisions

6. Google User Data Sharing and Disclosure

Meet accesses Google user data only with the user's explicit consent and only to provide functionality requested by the user.

Google Calendar data obtained through Google APIs is used exclusively for:

  • Meeting discovery
  • Calendar synchronization
  • Upcoming meeting identification
  • Automated meeting participation workflows

Google Calendar data is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

Meet does not sell, rent, trade, or share Google user data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing partners.

Meet may share limited information with trusted service providers that help operate the platform, including:

Users may request deletion of their Meet account and associated information by contacting Meet support.

Upon receiving a deletion request, Meet will permanently delete or anonymize personal information, meeting transcripts, summaries, action items, decisions, and connected Google account data within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is required by law.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to:
